Created in Northwest Georgia, we're branching out with our first independent living housing in Chattanooga, TN, and the surrounding area. Our Kindred Community is more than just a program—it's a family. As a nonprofit organization, we offer extended foster care for individuals seeking an extended family as they transition into adulthood, pursue employment, or work towards a 2-year technical degree or certification. Our Kindred Community was created out of love. It began with concerned individuals coming together to make a difference in the lives of young adults on their journey to independence. Our unique community is made up of current and former foster parents, caseworkers, social workers, and supportive parents. What makes our Kindred Community great is our shared dedication and willingness to do whatever it takes to help these young adults succeed.
